Adam Swellings, 19 (of Meredith Street, Crewe), Stephen Sorton, 17 (of
Honister Avenue, Warrington), and Jordan Cunliffe (formerly of Warrington),
16 were sentence to minimum sentences of 17, 15 and 12 years in jail
respectively.
I sincerely hope that they get their heads kicked in while in jail.

Oh they will don't worry. I fancied myself as a bit of a hard nut 25 years
ago & spent some time as a YP (Young prisoner) doing time in Borstals,
Detention centres & ending up in Strangeways Prison Manchester, all for
fighting.
Scariest time of my life being cooped up with boys considerably tougher
than i was. On my first night 1 boy in the next cell died & the other 2 were
badly injured when one of them set fire to the cell in a suicide bid. Day 3
i saw the bloodiest most violent fight ever involving my new cell mate &
another boy over a silly argument during volley ball. For the rest of my
sentence i never spoke to anyone unless i had too & i literally kept my head
down constantly looking at the floor.
I have followed this sickening case as i used to live & work & drink in
Cadishead & Warrington in my 20s. Those immature feral rats are going to be
terrified whilst inside for many years to come until things settle down, one
to one they couldn't knock the skin of a rice pud, they may even get
shagged....They wont be no heroes in prison.

It was a surprisingly good sentence, although I wouldn't have
complained with a few years more.

I was expecting them to get something like 3 years ie 18 months with
remission.

Perhaps not to surprising given the large amount of media coverage
surrounding the case?
