"personal search" local council corruption

I posted previously about the "personal search" scam being run by local
councils in many areas up and down the country.

I mentioned in particular COVENTRY, HUNTINGDONSHIRE, CHESHIRE, and
almost everywhere in DEVON and KENT.

I also said how the existence of the scam could be verified, by means
of two phone calls.

My information on the ground is that the scam is almost out of control
in CANTERBURY and NORTH DEVON. Criminals are using public office and
connections with public officials as "magic money machines".

In CANTERBURY things have reached a point where certain people are
saying "something must be done".

Unfortunately, whilst this may mean that before the end of 2006, LLC1
and CON29 searches get done in less than 2 months (compare the
government guideline of 10 days), it's unlikely that any of the
criminals at the council, or bigwig local solicitors, will go to jail
(or even just get publicly whipped!) as they so richly deserve.

If you had a shred of evidence you'd have gone to the police, who would have
gone to the Chief Execs of the councils whom you libel, who would have
suspended any officials implicated until full investigation. Why haven't
you followed this course of action?
